Started by Ted and Norma Ware, Ted’s Pharmacy is a second generation, 100% locally owned and operated full service pharmacy that has been serving Haynesville and Claiborne Parish since 1974.

Can I use my prescription card at Ted's?

Yes, we support most major insurance and Medicare Part D plans, as well as Louisiana Medicaid. And remember, your copays are the SAME PRICE as they are at the big chains.

What if I have a question about my monthly billing statement or my insurance benefits?

Can you help me with Medicare Part D questions?

Yes, we would be happy to discuss different Medicare Part D options or more information can be found at www.medicare.gov.

If I have no refills remaining, can I still request a refill online?

Yes, we will contact your physician for you to request a refill. You will be required to enter your phone number so we may contact you at a later time.

What if I forgot to pick up my prescription at the indicated time?

We will hold your prescription for seven days. If you’ve forgotten to pick up your prescription in this time, call us and we’ll be happy to refill it.

Can I prepay my prescription online?

We do not currently accept online payments. We do accept cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover at time of pickup.

How can I transfer my prescription from another pharmacy?

EASY. Bring in your old prescription bottle, and we will handle the rest. Or, if you prefer, call us. We will need the old rx number, name and strength of the medication, the doctor’s name, and the name and phone number of the pharmacy that last filled the prescription.

What if I need a hard to find prescription medication or OTC(Over-the-Counter) product?

We will be happy to special order any medication or OTC item you may need. We order from multiple wholesalers. This allows us access to over 30,000 items, to offer our customers a variety of products at competitive prices. Most of the time, we can have it for you by the next business day.

What OTC products are best for me?

Dan Ware, registered pharmacist, is always available to help you select a product appropriate for your symptoms, while also taking into account any medication you may be taking or health conditions you have.
